Trevi Fountain

It is the largest of Rome's famous fountains.
Built on the facade of Palazzo Poli by Nicola Salvi.
The theme of the entire composition is the sea.
The origin of the fountain dates back to 19 BC, a time in which it constituted the termination of the aqueduct, the Aqua Virgo.
The current external appearance of the Trevi Fountain dates back to 1762
The name Trevi derives from Tre Vie, given that the fountain was the meeting point of three streets.

St. Peter's

Designed primarily by Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, Carlo Maderno, and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, St. Peter's is the most famous work of Renaissance architecture and the largest church in the world. Although it is neither the mother church of the Catholic Church nor the cathedral of the diocese of Rome, St. Peter's is considered one of the holiest Catholic shrines. It has been described as "holding a unique position in the Christian world" and as "the largest of all the churches in Christendom."

Ostia Antica

Ostia Antica is a vast archaeological site near the present city of Ostia, which corresponds to the location of the port city of ancient Rome, located about 25 kilometers southwest of Rome. "Ostia" (plural of "ostium") is derived from the Latin word "os," meaning "mouth." Located at the mouth of the Tiber River, Ostia was Rome's seaport, but due to siltation, the site is now 3 kilometers from the sea.

Thermae

In ancient Rome, thermae (from Greek θερμός thermos, "hot") and balneae (from Greek βαλανεῖον balaneion) were bathing facilities. Thermae usually refers to large imperial bath complexes, while balneae were small-scale, public or private facilities that existed in large numbers throughout Rome

VILLA D’ESTE

Is a masterpiece of Italian garden design with an amazing concentration of fountains, nymphaea, grottoes, water themes and a organ which produces audible effects created by water.
This is the place where, disillusioned at not having been elected as Pope, Cardinal Ippolito II d’Este revived the splendour of the courts of Ferrara, Rome and Fointanebleau, and brought the magnificence of Villa Adriana back to life.
