Trevi Fountain

It is the largest of Rome's famous fountains.
Built on the facade of Palazzo Poli by Nicola Salvi.
The theme of the entire composition is the sea.
The origin of the fountain dates back to 19 BC, a time in which it constituted the termination of the aqueduct, the Aqua Virgo.
The current external appearance of the Trevi Fountain dates back to 1762
The name Trevi derives from Tre Vie, given that the fountain was the meeting point of three streets.

Ostia Antica

Ostia Antica is a vast archaeological site near the present city of Ostia, which corresponds to the location of the port city of ancient Rome, located about 25 kilometers southwest of Rome. "Ostia" (plural of "ostium") is derived from the Latin word "os," meaning "mouth." Located at the mouth of the Tiber River, Ostia was Rome's seaport, but due to siltation, the site is now 3 kilometers from the sea.
